(b.1986) Based in Berlin, Germany

Jeiryung Lee is a South Korean artist based in Berlin. Her practice centres on writing as a means of liberation from personal and societal repression. She explores writing as a survival instinct, treating language as both material and tool. Through deconstructing and reassembling text, she reveals intersections between her experiences and those of others. Her work spans installations, sculptures, paintings, and mixed media, often combining text with objects to narrate psychological and philosophical themes drawn from memories, recordings, and shared experiences.
